New site changes and updates
Hi all
I've made some changes to the site, as returning visitors can tell. There have been a few technical challenges overcome, a number yet unresolved, but at least the major parts of the site are in place.
Here are some of the changes, some are cosmetic, others under the hood:
- Changed from two column layout to three columns. This allows more content to be displayed without requiring too much vertical scrolling of the webpage.
Primary 1 Orientation

Have something exciting to share? Post it here!
Registered SAPTA site members can now post news stories on the homepage.
Up till now, only the site admin could post articles, but we believe many members and parents have interesting stories to share, so once you're logged in, you can post your news articles here!
News items can include sharing results of our boys' CCA and sports events, like matches played, trips organised, etc.
We'll soon be putting up a photo gallery, so your news stories can also be accompanied by photos you've taken!
Lament of the median student
This is the title of the article in the Straits Times on Friday, Mar 28, 2008, written by Chua Mui Hoong on page 31.
Did anyone else read this article? I thought it was a very good read and interesting point of view which I totally agree with.

Welcome to the new SAPTA website!
We've finally got our own website!
This site is for you, the members of the St. Andrew's Parent-Teacher Association. Here, you will find information on all the activities SAPTA organises and/or are involved in.
This is an interactive site, and we will be putting in features that will allow feedback and dialogues between you and the SAPTA Executive Committee members.
So enjoy, and visit often as we will be updating this site regularly, because there is so much happening in the St. Andrew's family of schools!
